NASA's Curiosity rover selfie photobombed by Mars mountain
NASA has been on a fun run lately when it comes to exceptional photos involving its Mars Curiosity rover.
The recent riches include an adorable selfie that makes the machine look like Wall-E and a jaw-dropping panorama of the Gale Crater. The latest entry is a full-body selfie starring a photobombing mountain.
The selfie shows Curiosity hanging out on Vera Rubin Ridge, a formation named for an influential astronomer. The sloping landscape right behind the rover is scheduled to be the next area the machine will explore. [read more]

Like Twitter, Amazon, and Google Maps before it, Slack is ditching its Apple Watch app. The team chat and collaboration platform for businesses quietly announced the news via an update to its iOS app. But, that doesn't mean Slack will disappear entirely from your wrist.

However, the studio put the game under its new Total War Saga banner, which will put the spotlight on a smaller, yet more focused portion of history. But don’t think of it as just another Total War game--based on what we were told by the studio, Thrones of Britannia will give players a chance to experiment with new mechanics and changes to existing features. Beautiful Concept Award Won By Mazda Vision Coupe
The jury, which included automobile and motor sport experts as well as renowned architects and fashion designers, chose the VISION COUPE, which was unveiled in October in Tokyo, over nine other models nominated for the coveted honour this year: the Audi Aicon, BMW i Vision Dynamics, Kia Proceed Concept, Lamborghini Terzo Millennio, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Concept, Mercedes-AMG Project One, Vision Mercedes Maybach 6 Cabriolet, Nissan Vmotion and Peugeot Instinct. Mazda captured the same award two years ago for its stunning RX-VISION concept.
As the name suggests, the VISION COUPE, like the RX-VISION, embodies Mazda’s next-generation design vision. The proportions of the flowing four-door, with the cabin positioned toward the rear, are characteristic of a classic coupé design while conveying the powerful forward momentum of a high-performance sports car.
